Dramatic Urban Ballet Portraits in Richmond, Virginia

A few weeks ago we featured our friend Erin on the blog to celebrate her upcoming senior year of high school.  This week I really wanted to highlight some great outdoor dance portraits we did downtown.  We went down to the dock where the Annabelle Lee (R.I.P) once docked, Shockoe Bottom, and around the Manchester neighborhood.  We ended up with some very creative and edgy photographs.  We hope you enjoy these as much as we do.  There will be more dance portraits featured on the blog in the next few weeks.  Dancers have become a huge part of the WJ Photography family.  Enjoy!

  1. I really enjoyed looking at these images. You’ve really captured some powerful shots. I recently wrote an article on an Urban Ballet calendar that we did for charity.

    Check it out here.
