The Art of Children’s Photography

Wolfgang: “Hey Matthew! Matthew! Look over here!” <makes silly face>

Matthew, momentarily distracted by Wolfgang, glances over and breaks into a wide grin.

It is rather magical to watch. These brief, fleeting moments of genuine interaction are, one-by-one, forever imprinted into a photograph. Children are very much a gift, a literal “ball of energy,” given to us to help us remember various pieces of life.

Like how to laugh!

Or how to relay our thoughts:

Or how to pause and contemplate things in life:

And the importance of family:

Watching Wolfgang work is similar to watching a painting come to life. So many ideas flow into each portrait sitting – 40+ years of photography and artistry – and culminates into a masterpiece which is treasured by individuals for many, many years to come.

As raw emotion unfolds, the essence of the individual appears, and confidence emerges from within. Each photograph is imprinted with Wolfgang’s passion for photography and his internal love for the world of art.
