The Spirit of Dogs

<meow!> Nothing. <meow…meow!> Nothing.

Jazz, a beautiful, five-year-old, Labrador Retriever was not responding to our terrible vocal renditions of a cat’s meow. She was more interested in…treats. Of course! Who doesn’t love food?

Dogs, like people, are all different.  Different personalities, different likes and dislikes, different temperaments. Yet they all have one thing in common: love for their human companions.

Some are quite elegant.

Others seem to enjoy having their photographs taken!

And many have left us much too soon but will be with us forever in spirit.

Photographing dogs is truly a pleasure for us, as we adore them through and through. Capturing different personalities and the “soulful” nature of each animal teaches us, in some ways, about us as humans and the nature of unconditional love.

They are called “man’s best friend” for a reason – always faithful, forever loyal, helping us navigate through life.

If you would like to have a beautiful portrait of your dog (or dogs) for you and your family – something that will be cherished for years to come – please contact our studio at 804.232.8028 or wolfgangjasperphoto@me.com. We look forward to seeing you soon!
